  We have cared for a variety of pets and they always get lots of attention because there are three of us. They have included dogs, cats, horses, sheep, goats, alpacas, rabbits and a variety of poultry.

• Hi! My name is Morgan Bell and my wife Lorena and I have recently (1yr ago)  moved back to Australia. I have been living and working overseas for the past 15 years. I am Australian and my wife and I have settled in Brisbane to be close to my parents who live on the Sunshine Coast. I have a full time job with Clubs Queensland, situated in Northgate.
  My wife and I are very responsible people and love animals. We don't have pets nor children, but would be thrilled to be surrogate parents to someone's cat/s or dog/s while they are away.  I grew up on a hobby farm on the Sunshine Coast, where I had to take care of cats, dogs, chickens, pigs, cows, horses...well, you get the picture.
  Earlier in my career I worked as a Queensland Police Officer, then moved overseas to travel and ended up living and working in Japan as a Senior Editor of a lifestyle magazine then as an Advertising Copywriter for Japan's largest ad agency. My wife and I met in Japan, where she had been living for 10 years.  We both speak Japanese.
  We are both adjusting to life back in Australia, and have been sharing a house with a close friend who had been kind enough to put us up for the year we have been back.
  Our living situation has afforded us the luxury of not having to purchase furniture and the like, so at a time where we are thinking of moving out of our current location to gain some privacy, house-sitting seems like a great fit for us, and hopefully for you.
  We are open to short and long-term sits. A short-term sit over Christmas would give us some time to ourselves while keeping our roots and few possessions at my friend's place (in Clayfield).  A long-term sit somewhere conducive for me commuting to work would be even better. I'm happy to be anywhere up to 20kms from Northgate, excluding anywhere on the South side of Brisbane that would require commuting over the gateway bridge or South-East freeway. (I also value my sanity ..lol)
