  1/ We will make every effort to meet you as early as possible before the sit.
  2/ Communicate with you regularly up until we came to sit.
  3/ Arrive in time, before the sit so that we get to know each other and any routines etc.
  4/ Keep in regular contact, if you wish, during your time away.
  5/ Look after your home and possessions with every care as if they were our own.
  6/ Come to an agreement in use of your utilities like power, gas etc, or for example using your phone for local calls and of course we'd be prepared to pay any extras.
  7/ For a longer term sit we would negotiate putting the utilities into our name.
  8/Maintain your garden, pot plants, lawn if/and as needed. We would, at all times, treat your home, furnishings, chattels and appliances with all care, keeping them maintained, clean and tidy, as if they were our own.
  9/ In all things and at all times respect your privacy. Not hold parties etc. (we are both non-smokers)
  10/ We will not plunder your larder or deep freeze while you are away.
  11/ Try and leave your property at least as good and if possible, even better than we found it!
  12/ We would of course be prepared to put an agreement to this effect in writing and sign it if you wish.
  I have background as a Professional Fire Officer specialized in Fire Safety in the NZ Fire Service and my wife served in the Philippine Police for 26 years.

• Hello, my name is Anuschka and I want to do house-sitting.
  I grew up with five siblings (three older ones and two kid siblings) and so I know what it means to keep house. e.g. a house in order and to be well structured and organised. Also we learned to accept responsibility for each other and the things we do!
  My parents set great value upon discipline; otherwise we would descend into chaos.
  We had a cat, named Oggel, for whom I was responsible. Unfortunately we never had a dog, but I worked as a dog sitter and this way I imagine I had my own dog. Not for money, only for fun, because I love them. Well, all right, sometimes I got chocolate or liquorice, which I also love.
  2006 I left home to live in Hamburg in my own flat, strictly speaking in my first share flat with two other people.
