• I'm a retired RAAF Officer with complete freedom in relation to time. However, I am also a member of The Salvation Army who does considerable volunteer work, primarily in the USA. Notable achievements include organising the warehouse for the Pentagon Disaster post 9 /11 (150 000 sq ft warehouse full of brand new donated items). I have also organised four fundraising campaigns, two in Arlington Va, and two in Lawton, Ok., and administered a Homeless Shelter in Lawton. When doing my volunteer work, I regard myself as an unpaid employee, not a volunteer.
  I own a home in Mandurah which I have let at 20 % beneath market value because of the financial circumstances of my tenants.  I am buying another home in Canberra which I have allowed family members to live in rent free. I am a great believer in having a social conscience. This is not because of some in-built desire to ingratiate myself. It's primarily in recognition that I have received such wonderful gifts throughout my life.

  Until I permanently migrated 4 years ago to Melbourne I was self-employed in advertising and also had my art-exhibitions in Switzerland and Germany.
  I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, consume absolutely no drugs and live a very quiet life-style as an independent woman.
