• Hello, my name is Anuschka and I want to do house-sitting.
  I grew up with five siblings (three older ones and two kid siblings) and so I know what it means to keep house. e.g. a house in order and to be well structured and organised. Also we learned to accept responsibility for each other and the things we do!
  My parents set great value upon discipline; otherwise we would descend into chaos.

• Hi there, we are a semi retired farming couple from Western Australia. We've leased our farm for 5 years and are taking our 8 year old son around Australia for a couple of years before he's ready to start high school.
  We are self sufficient in a very large motorhome (56' in total) with our own vehicle and power supply.
  We are looking for housesits on rural properties, or acreage big enough to fit our motorhome onto. We do have a pet, a very spoilt, very well behaved british staffy who will be tied up all the time, unless there is space away from other animals for him to run around and not get into mischief.
  Being farmers we are very experienced in the care of farm animals, including sheep and cows, have some experience with horses (enough to rug and feed them) and have had a variety of farm birds, and also fish.
  Long term stays would definitely be appreciated, as our son can go to school, and we can also look for work to replenish the coffers. We aren't in any rush to move on and QLD is our chosen area to spend a fair amount of time. We are looking at moving here before our son starts high school, and would like the chance to experience life in the smaller communities around the bigger regional cities and towns before committing to a major move.

  Old-fashioned reliability and a belief that "your word is your bond". I've lived by that all my life and apply it to the house sits I do. I've already done a dozen house sit assignments ranging from Perth to New Zealand and generally involving at least one dog or cat.

  We are a married couple travelling with our three children aged 7 years, 9 years, and 13 months. We have been home-owners in SA for many years and last year hit the road to live a nomadic lifestyle for a while, moving around the eastern states of Australia. We want to see as many different areas as we can over the next 12 or so months, and would love to look after your house and animals for you on our travels.
  We are looking for housesits of any length, ideally two to six weeks. Our timetables are very flexible, so if you have a house/animals you would like us to care for please contact us and we'll see what we can do...
  We intend to build our own home once we settle down again, and have a keen interest in environmentally friendly structures. We would love to stay in alternative housing (housesitting in an earthship or a structure built from strawbale, cob or any other green method would be great).  Of course, regular housing is also OK!
  We are happy to look after animals, maintain veggies patches, etc. We have great respect for other's property (kids have been brought up with same values)- your home will be in good hands. All of us love animals, and the kids can play with your pets and give them as much love and attention as they need.

  Our beautiful children are house-trained and gentle and have never incurred damage on property, gardens or pets. We recognise you may be hesitant to commit to a young family- But perhaps your animals will love the company!
  We are also willing to keep the children separate from your animals if requested- (due to Temperament, age, or disability).
  With this in consideration- We are willing to pay a "bond" to convey our confidence in our ability to return your property in the same- If not better condition! :)
  Ideally, We would Love a long-term project (one month + ) on a fully fenced property. We would be happy to contribute to costs for a longer project (All Food/Electricity...etc.
  We both love the outdoors and would love to learn about Queensland plants in preparation for designing and planting our next landscaping project!

• Hi there, we are a semi retired farming couple from Western Australia. We've leased our farm for 5 years and are taking our 8 year old son around Australia for a couple of years before he's ready to start high school.
  We are self sufficient in a very large motorhome (56' in total) with our own vehicle and power supply.
  We are looking for housesits on rural properties, or acreage big enough to fit our motorhome onto. We do have a pet, a very spoilt, very well behaved british staffy who will be tied up all the time, unless there is space away from other animals for him to run around and not get into mischief.
  Being farmers we are very experienced in the care of farm animals, including sheep and cows, have some experience with horses (enough to rug and feed them) and have had a variety of farm birds, and also fish.
  Long term stays would definitely be appreciated, as our son can go to school, and we can also look for work to replenish the coffers. We aren't in any rush to move on and QLD is our chosen area to spend a fair amount of time. We are looking at moving here before our son starts high school, and would like the chance to experience life in the smaller communities around the bigger regional cities and towns before committing to a major move.
