• Hello, my name is Anuschka and I want to do house-sitting.
  I grew up with five siblings (three older ones and two kid siblings) and so I know what it means to keep house. e.g. a house in order and to be well structured and organised. Also we learned to accept responsibility for each other and the things we do!
  My parents set great value upon discipline; otherwise we would descend into chaos.
  We had a cat, named Oggel, for whom I was responsible. Unfortunately we never had a dog, but I worked as a dog sitter and this way I imagine I had my own dog. Not for money, only for fun, because I love them. Well, all right, sometimes I got chocolate or liquorice, which I also love.
  2006 I left home to live in Hamburg in my own flat, strictly speaking in my first share flat with two other people.
  In Hamburg I did my apprenticeship as a management assistant in publishing and after finishing my apprenticeship I stay there in the distribution department until I leave Germany in October 2010, with the aim - Australia!

  Old-fashioned reliability and a belief that "your word is your bond". I've lived by that all my life and apply it to the house sits I do. I've already done a dozen house sit assignments ranging from Perth to New Zealand and generally involving at least one dog or cat.
  Unlike people looking for long terms I am mostly interested in shorter periods up to four or five weeks but if you're on the Sunshine Coast (particularly Buderim) and looking for a long-term sitter I'd love to hear from you.

Gill was a senior Fashion Buyer for a large UK company, but became more interested in working with organisations that do some good in the community.
  We jumped off the treadmill relatively early, met 12-years ago in South America while we were doing voluntary work, and have been managing to balance our lives ever since with some less stressful paid work, voluntary work and lots of travel.
  We are fit, healthy, tidy, non-smoking, and reasonably handy around house and garden.  We feel equally comfortable in big cities and the bush and like to divide our time between the two.
  We genuinely like animals of all sorts - having grown up with dogs, cats, sheep and the odd budgie but our desire to keep travelling through our fifties and onwards means we can't keep our own pets.
